Kasiya Dental, located at 11538 W. 119th St. in Overland Park, provides a full range of services under the attentive care of Dr. Kasiyamhuru, a.k.a. Dr. Kasiya. She received her BA in medical technology from Wartburg College in Iowa. She worked as a Clinical lab scientist before earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2006.
Dr. Kasiya moved from Iowa in 2006 and began practicing dentistry in the Kansas City area, working for different dentists as an associate dentist. She also practiced dentistry in homes that house troubled kids and rural and inner-city schools in Kansas and Missouri. Her practice has been at the current location since May of 2007 on a part-time basis and full-time since 2008. She continues to work in the community and has worked with the Kansas Mission of Mercy, giving free dental care to the underserved. Dr. Kasiya has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.

Christina C.
Insurance & Financial Coordinator
Christina has been in the dental field for 13 years. She has been part of the Kasiya Dental Team since 2018 after her previous dentist of 11 years recently retired. Christina is crossed trained in front and back office and wears many hats in the dental field. You will mostly see her at the front desk where she will be happy to help you with all your insurance, treatment, and/or financial needs.
Christina and her husband have been together for 24 years. Together they have 4 beautiful children. Christina enjoys spending time with her family going to church, dancing, listening to music and the Kansas City Chiefs!
Erin W.
Insurance & Financial Coordinator
Erin works at the front of the office and is always there to greet you with a smile! She has been part of the Kasiya Dental Team since 2018. Erin makes sure that all our patients are comfortable and answers any questions before they go back for their appointment. Erin is a 2006 graduate of Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, NC with a degree in Corporate Communication and Business.
Erin was born and raised in Palm Springs, CA and moved to Charlotte, NC for college. After college Erin continued to call Charlotte her home until she moved to Kansas in 2008. Erin is married to her husband Neal and together they have 3 beautiful children. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, playing sand volleyball and training for half marathons.
Tanya K.
Registered Dental Hygenist
Prior joining Dr. Kasiya, Tanya had acquired extensive experience in all aspects of hygiene, customer relations and dental office management. She has been part of the Kasiya Dental Team since 2018. Tanya’s goal is to provide the best comprehensive dental care to all her patients with an emphasis on patient education, treatment, and motivation. Tanya’s goal is to create a tranquil and soothing environment, while addressing your concerns, expectations and needs with no judgments. Tanya graduated with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Lakeland Community College in 2007.
Originally, Tanya is from the South part of Russia, and can understand several additional languages. After moving to the States, Tanya called Cleveland, OH home. Tanya and her husband are blessed with two wonderful children that keep them busy. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, gardening, and working on personal development. Tanya looks forward to welcoming you to Kasiya Dental and creating a long-lasting relationship.

More than anything Dr. Kasiya believes in preventive dentistry. “Not just for teeth but for overall health. It is said prevention is better than cure. Not only is prevention better than cure, it is also cheaper than cure. Many people do not know that oral health problems are linked to general health conditions including obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, bone/tooth loss, and heart disease. We encourage people to make their regular dental appointments and not wait until they have a problem or start experiencing dental pain,” says Dr. Kasiya.
The atmosphere at Kasiya Dental is comfortable and relaxed, with massaging chairs in every room. The staff, Julia, Arze and Stacy, is friendly, educated, understanding,and outgoing.
They are willing to take the extra step to help you with your dental needs and understand your insurance. “We provide comprehensive dental treatment to people of all ages. Our youngest patient is less than a year and our oldest is 101 years old, one stop for the whole family,” she says. The services provided include oral cancer screenings, cleanings, restorative work, root canals, crowns, veneers, extractions, dentures, partial dentures, whitening and Invisalign (the clear way to straighten teeth without traditional braces).
For your convenience, Kasiya Dental has early morning, evening, and weekend appointments. The office accepts several insurance plans including Medicaid for kids in Kansas. For those who do not have dental insurance, they offer their in house discount dental plan which starts at $39 per month. They also have free interest financing available through different services.
